Just over a month ago, I shared with you what your mom more than likely wanted for Mother's Day, yet dared not mention it. Now it's Dad's turn... yes, we want to celebrate him too, right?
This year, rob Dad of every excuse to moan and complain about how much more appreciation Mom got for her day (than he did for his) by doing one of the following:
- For The Everyday Dad
Instead of the cliched tie and socks, why not buy a whole suit? Or at least a couple of outfits that he'll actually want to wear? - For The Sentimental Dad
Choose a photo restoration service which can breathe new life into those old, cracked, torn, fady, discolored photo prints of you and the old man in days long gone by. Narrow down the choices to your absolute favorites.
Not only will he be touched by the effort put into restoring them and by how much they must mean to you, he'll also be reminded of those golden years when you were his little angel - that's priceless!BEFORE AFTER - For The No-Fuss Dad
Treat Mr Easy-To-Please to a nice lunch out or a good ol' family barbecue - with someone other than him working the grill.
Alternatively, brighten up Dad's Whatsapp feed with an e-card featuring a heart-felt poem or narrative explaining why he means so much to you.
Maybe add a nice soundtrack and finish off with a sentimental family photo spread (perhaps restored as outlined above)... I DARE him not to cry! - For The Couch-Potato Dad
Is the TV your dad's best friend?
Then he could definitely use some snacks, a La-Z-Boy chair, a universal remote (don't forget the extra batteries!), a major sports magazine subscription or a new TV/online package based on sports or entertainment. - For The Meat-Loving Dad
Is the way to your dad's heart through his stomach?
How about gift cards or coupons for all-you-can-eat buffets, steakhouse dinners or a hearty lunch subscription membership?
That's sure to top anything that Mom gets him... well, except that one thing!CLICK THESE GIFT CARDS FOR INSTANT DELIVERY TO DAD VIA E-MAIL: - For The Sports-Crazed Dad
So your dad is a sports fanatic, but he still likes to get out to the games and actually be within a stone's throw of the action, right?
Well, why not wow him with premium game tickets or brand-name gear and apparel from his favorite teams? - For The Active Dad
Ok, so your dad likes to stay fit as a fiddle. Or perhaps he loves to experience natural environments.
You could get him sailing equipment, running gear, cycling gear, gym gear, a gym membership or major magazine subscriptions for any one of these hobbies. - For The Sweet-Toothed Dad
Contrary to popular belief, candy addiction in adults is not exclusive to women.
Indulge Dad's candy cravings with a crate of chocolate minis, exotic cookies or ice cream cups, or just get him a bunch of lunch and dinner gift cards where each includes a scrumptious cheesecake, milkshake or ice cream sundae for dessert.CLICK THIS CHEESECAKE FACTORY GIFT CARD FOR INSTANT DELIVERY TO DAD VIA E-MAIL: - For The Corporate Dad
All "boardroom ballers" need to be 3 things: punctual, prepared and equipped.
You can make sure your preppy dad is all of these things with a luxurious yet affordable watch and functional but stylish briefcase, satchel, pull-along laptop bag or leather portfolio. - For The Nerdy Dad
Nerds RULE!
The intellectual patriarch requires neural nourishment to keep him smarter than the average dad.
Help him out with encyclopedia volumes, top-notch research papers on his favorite "brainiac" topics of interest (to him only), best-selling novels or documentary DVD's. - For The Techie Dad
Fuel Dad's tech craze with the latest gadgets, tech mag subscriptions and DIY tech maintenance guides.
Eventually, he'll hone skills that can both save and earn him money. - For The Cam Dad
If your dad is a roving photographer then help put a dent in his hobby's massive costs by getting him a new lens cleaning kit, universal lens cap or tripod.
Serious photographers need seriously expensive equipment, along with caps and cases to protect these delicate tools of the trade.
So aid him in his quest to show off his keen eye for detail, interesting photogenics and lens-focusing prowess. - For The Outdoorsman Dad
Let's not forget about those rugged dads who revel in the rustic, oft-uncomfortable yet unspoilt beauty of nature.
They already possess the zeal and skills to thrive in these challenging environments - all they need is the equipment.
Make endeavors like fishing, camping, hunting and hiking much safer and easier for your wild dad by gifting him gear like a tent, kayak, army-grade LED lamp, generator, penknife, fishing pole, hiking boots, satellite phone or an outdoorsman mag subscription. - For The Barfly Dad
Some dads are just simple, everyday Joes who like to frequent the local bars and pass the time making conversation, watching a game or just unwinding whilst soaking in the atmosphere (and a genuine, all-American draft).
It's their recuperation station after a hard day's work and a refuge from their (sometimes) nagging families.
Ensure that your dad always gets the "me" time he needs by getting him some gift cards or a membership for his favorite sports bar.
Or you could simply clear his tab at the local watering-hole. - For The Handy Dad
Can your dad build or fix just about anything?
Then cater to his DIY desires with a replacement for that worn-out toolbelt, saw blade or those hole-infested engine gloves.
If all of his tools are in good shape, then you can get him a home improvement handbook for all those unnecessary projects he's gonna undertake around the house. - For The Globe-Trotting Dad
Is your dad an avid traveler, hopping all around the place?
Perhaps he's one of those retirees who haven't been unable to keep still ever since bowing out of the rat race?
Well, treat him to a well-deserved break and the best kinda vacation... one that he doesn't have to pay for!
Your lovable world traveler will love you all the more for it.Take a vacation that pays YOU: 1. Get discounted airline tickets from this reliable source 2. Book a hotel for cash back via PayPal - For The Military/1st-Responder Dad
Fortunate enough to have your heroic dad home for Father's Day?
Then make the quality time count by taking his mind off the rigors of service with a game of touch football, Uno, Hearts, Go Fish or Monopoly.
You can also take him bowling or to see a side-splitting comedy at the movies.
Whatever you do, keep it light and don't delay - remember that he could be recalled at any time. Besides, how often do you get to spend time with him, right?SUPPORT THIS ENTREPRENEURIAL WAR VET FREE Coupon Inserts &

Is your dad a clown, practical joker or goof-ball?
Then get the grandkids to help you turn the tables on him with water balloon missiles (this can also be a fun, painless variation of dodgeball, btw), surprise pop-up toys, well-disguised hand-buzzers, carefully hidden whoopie cushions and other practical jokes.
If he's really a child at heart, let him join the grandkids at Chuck E. Cheese or a local amusement park. - For The Culinary Dad
If your father prefers to do his own cooking - and is good at it - he could probably use an upgrade to his culinary wardrobe and instruments:- A fresh, clean, linen chef's hat or apron
- A brand new, high-end chef knife set with lifetime guarantee
- A stylish barbecue grill with cooking and cleaning accessories
- Copper cookware
- A recipe app subscription with optional ingredient delivery
- Cookbooks
These are all perfect for the kitchen wizard known affectionately as Dad.

Of course not... just give him a day of peace and quiet, with a nice/funny card, breakfast in bed, supreme control over the TV/remote (and all newspaper sections), full-service meals all day long and no bickering kids (or nagging wife ;)).
